Brothers in Christ
Human beings are social animals, but we also have a strong tendency to be very selfish and self obsessed. The Christian life calls us to remedy that situation in community life, whether at the level of marriage, family, neighbourhood, nation or even internationally. Concern for the other has been part of God’s message not only in Jesus, but in his word to the Jewish people. Living in community, with brothers we have not chosen, is both supportive and challenging. It would not be possible without the motivation and the grace that come from being disciples of Christ and brothers in St Dominic.
