Brotherhood of preachers living a life structured by solemn celebration of the Sacred Liturgy and daily, lifelong study, seeks new brothers to join in the work of saving souls. All applicants taken seriously.

Such might be an advertisement inviting men, young and not so young, to consider joining the Order of Preachers, the Dominicans. The four details in the advert – fraternity/community, preaching, prayer, study – have been part of our Order since its inception and remain what we call the four pillars of Dominican life.
