Television Broadcast of Palm Sunday Mass with Novice Master & County Cork Choir.

Fr Philip McShane, novice master of the Irish Dominican friars, celebrated Palm Sunday Mass on RTÉ television with parishioners from Clonakilty parish, West Cork on 1st April.

Following connections through the Dominican music and liturgy course in East Cork (Knockadoon) Fr Philip was invited to celebrate on television with the group from West Cork.

Those who sang the liturgy are members of the Clonakilty parish folk group.

Much of the music was from the repertoire learned over various years from the Knockadoon course and chosen specifically for the various parts of the Palm Sunday liturgy.
